This project was guided by a clear vision: to enhance the beachfront experience and turn a public coastal area into a welcoming destination for families and visitors. The playground was designed as a natural continuation of HaTzuk South Beach, harmonizing with the surrounding landscape, ambiance, and the rhythm of the sea. Every feature was thoughtfully crafted to feel organic, serene, and deeply connected to its environment.
Situated right by the sea, the playground needed materials capable of enduring salt, humidity, strong winds, and constant exposure to the elements. Robinia wood was selected for its outstanding durability, strength, and natural weather resistance, while preserving a warm, organic look. For the swings, specially designed stainless-steel structures were used, providing long-lasting corrosion resistance and ensuring safety in harsh coastal conditions.
The design takes cues from the surrounding seascape, featuring climbing elements reminiscent of nearby cliffs, a small boat for imaginative “sailing” adventures, and swings oriented to capture expansive ocean views. Curved lines and natural colors evoke the movement of waves and the feel of sea breezes, creating a serene yet engaging play environment. From architectural and engineering planning to custom production and installation, every step of the project was executed with precision, prioritizing durability, safety, and an unforgettable play experience.
