Every design decision was made with safety, creativity, and joy in mind, resulting in a playground that is not only accessible but also immersive, interactive, and inspiring. From the overall layout to the central play structures, the project shows how thoughtful design can make play a truly universal experience.
The playground is fully inclusive, welcoming wheelchair users, children with visual or hearing impairments, and other disabilities. Highlights include a central structure with wheelchair access to the second level, handrails along all ramps, tactile and visual angle markers, engraved entry signs, high-contrast colors for low-vision accessibility, and sound-transmitting tubes for interactive play. Surrounding the main area, children can enjoy a double zipline with adaptive seats and shell-shaped seating for quiet moments. Every feature is designed to blend accessibility with adventure, creating a play experience that is engaging, empowering, and inclusive for all visitors.
The award-winning playground design takes inspiration from hot air balloons, vibrant arches, airplanes, helicopters, and interactive game panels, crafting a whimsical, sky-themed environment.
